| Solid Waste:
All kitchen and
household refuse should be placed in a 32 gallon bag or can and placed on the curb on your
scheduled pickup day. Each bag or can placed at the curb must have a Village of
LaGrange/BFI sticker on it. If you have a large item for pickup (washer, dryer, stove,
couch, water heater, mattress, etc.), it may be placed on the curb on your scheduled
pickup day one day a month without charge. Landscape Waste: All grass,
leaves, shrubbery, vine trimmings, and the like must be contained in 32 gallon
biodegradable paper bags and placed on the curb for pickup on the primary collection day.
One sticker must be placed on each 32 gallon biodegradable paper bag. Plastic bags or cans
containing yard waste will be left uncollected even if there is a sticker on them. You may
not mix solid waste and landscape waste. Landscape waste will be picked up between April 1
and December 1 of each year.
